Back in 2016, Candace Owens first came on my radar through a service, more of an idea, really, called Social Autopsy (SA). SA was pitched as an anti-bullying platform that would name and shame the perpetrators in question. When it was pointed out that this would basically be a doxing site, shit hit the fan. Also, questions were raised about what the mechanisms would be for appearing on the site as a named bully, etc.
Basically, it was a complete shitshow.
I stayed mostly silent on the matter, as Randi Harper and Zoe Quinn (longtime enemies of mine) decided to taken on the then-liberal Owens over her new project. As things heated up, it became crystal clear that Ms. Owens was unafraid to lob rhetorical Molotovs in their direction. So, I played my cards right and secured the first on-air interview with Candace Owens. That’s right. She basically had her coming out party on my show.
For a couple years after YouTube unjustly deleted my channels, I assumed this footage lost to the hands of time. There was no copy anywhere to be found and it seemed like a hopeless cause. Until, I randomly found a copy of the SECOND interview I did with Ms. Owens shortly after the first. Then, things fell into place thanks to a friend of mine, and the first bag was secured as well. Since this is not only a big part of my online history, and Ms. Owens’, I am thrilled to be able to re-release it today.
Once again, we also did a second interview, which will be posted next Friday. There’s always something magical about that first time, however. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did. At little history lesson before I go:
This interview took place on April 16th, 2016. #Killstream 25 took place the very next day and it was co-hosted by me and my then-fiancee (and #Killstream co-founder) Nora. There have been 555 #Killstream episodes since then.
Needless to say, this one is a blast from the past. Follow the link below to subscribe and hear the full thing months before anyone else. Or, if you’re already a supporter, enjoy!
